Our
Story.

Michael Lloyd, photographer behind Lloyd Print Studio

I'm Michael Lloyd, a California-based photographer drawn to landscapes that feel cinematic before the camera even comes out. This is the story behind the studio.

Rooted in
California.

I'm Michael Lloyd, a photographer based in Southern California. It started as a hobby — something I did on weekends, on road trips, whenever I had a camera and somewhere worth pointing it. At some point the work got serious before I did.

The Southern California coast shaped how I see. That particular light — soft, a little hazy, never quite the same twice — trained my eye toward restraint. I stopped looking for dramatic moments and started looking for quiet ones.

Timeless &
cinematic.

Coastal and western landscapes draw me in for the same reason: they feel like they exist outside of time. A stretch of coastline at low tide, a ridge line at dusk, horses in an open field. These aren't trendy subjects. They're enduring ones.

That's what I want on your wall. Not something tied to a moment in design — something that earns its place in a room for years.

Made to
last.

Lloyd Print Studio exists because I wanted these images to have a proper form. Not a file on a screen. A physical object, framed and finished, ready to live somewhere real.

Every print is produced on archival paper with pigment-based inks, framed in solid wood, and sealed behind UV-protective acrylic. When it arrives at your door it's ready to hang. That's not a convenience — it's part of what the work deserves.

You're not buying a print.
You're bringing a place home.

Every image in this collection was made somewhere real, at a moment that earned it. When you hang it on your wall, that place comes with it — and it stays.
