Lloyd Print Studio

The story behind
the work.

Prints inspired by the places that shape us. Made with intention. Crafted to last.

The Photographer

Rooted in
California.

I'm Michael Lloyd, a photographer based in Southern California. Lloyd Print Studio grew out of weekends on the road, time near the water, and years of paying attention to the places that stayed with me.

The work is quiet by nature, coastal, western, and cinematic without being loud. I’m drawn to images that feel honest, enduring, and easy to live with.

A lot of the work begins outside, on quiet roads, near the water, and in the space between places. The camera is just a way of paying attention.
Timeless &
cinematic.

Coastal and western landscapes draw me in for the same reason: they feel like they exist outside of time. A stretch of coastline at low tide, a ridge line at dusk, horses in an open field. These aren't trendy subjects. They're enduring ones.

That's what I want on your wall. Not something tied to a moment in design, but something that earns its place in a room for years.

I look for images that feel quiet at first and stay with you, the kind of photograph that gives a room more atmosphere, not more noise.
Made to
last.

Lloyd Print Studio exists because I wanted these images to have a proper form. Not a file on a screen, but a physical object, framed and finished, ready to live somewhere real.

Every print is produced on archival paper with pigment-based inks, framed in solid wood, and sealed behind UV-protective acrylic. When it arrives at your door it's ready to hang. That is not just a convenience. It is part of what the work deserves.

Paper
Archival paper chosen for depth, tone, and longevity.
Ink
Pigment-based printing for rich, lasting color and tonal detail.
Frame
Solid wood frames designed to feel refined, simple, and enduring.
Finish
UV-protective acrylic and ready-to-hang construction.
The goal is simple: artwork that feels considered, calm, and worth living with.
Every image is selected, printed, and framed with the intention of becoming part of a home, not just filling a wall.
